上來勝進行中前供養品明隨緣造修行說，今此所明菩提分品即是內證行。如頌所列有十五法皆趣菩提，總名菩提分法，亦可十五法中第九明菩提分，從此標品名菩提分品。

Above, within the superior proceeding practices, the previous Chapter on Offerings explained the practices undertaken according to conditions; now, what is explained in this Chapter on the Bodhipakṣa Dharmas is precisely the practice of internal realization. As listed in the verses, there are fifteen dharmas that all advance toward bodhi, collectively named bodhipakṣa dharmas; or alternatively, among the fifteen dharmas, the ninth explains the bodhipakṣa dharmas, and from this the chapter is designated the Chapter on the Bodhipakṣa Dharmas.
