四、從廣見諸佛已下，明調柔果，稱量等位者，前之二地如練礦未盡，稱兩有咸燒之稍輕，今於三地如礦盡金淨，稱兩住定。

Fourth, from 'widely seeing the buddhas...' onward clarifies the fruition of pliancy. 'Weighing equal stages' means: in the previous two stages, like ore not yet completely refined, when weighed there was a slight reduction, as burning made it somewhat lighter; now in the third stage, like ore exhausted and gold purified, when weighed it remains constant.
