12.331

前中，云：能如其根者，牒前根，如其意樂者，牒前勝解。如其隨眠者，牒前種子界也。依彼趣入門中無倒教授，如應安立者，依彼有情或初趣入五停觀門，或有趣五趣行，或有趣入朋黨異見行門，或有趣入三乘聖道行門等，如應安立此教授門即是遍趣行力所緣，但今說知界差別故乘辨之。

Within the former part, "being able according to their faculties" takes up the aforementioned faculties; "according to their inclinations" takes up the aforementioned resolute intentions; and "according to their latencies" takes up the aforementioned realms of seeds. "Infallibly instructing according to the gates of entry into which they are proceeding, establishing them as appropriate": according to whether those sentient beings are initially proceeding into the gate of the five contemplations for calming the mind, or have practices proceeding toward the five destinies, or have gates of practice proceeding toward factional deviant views, or have gates of practice proceeding toward the noble paths of the three vehicles, establishing them as appropriate—this gate of instruction is itself the objective support for the power of practices leading everywhere; it is merely distinguished here in passing because the discussion now concerns knowing the differentiations of realms.
