12.40

若由無上清淨所淨者，即是第九第十，思量勝善大善二法明入，二乘無漏涅槃不染名為勝善，大乘無漏過彼二乘故名大善。

Regarding 'if purified by unexcelled purity': this is the ninth and tenth; reflecting on the entry through the illuminations of the two dharmas of superior wholesomeness and great wholesomeness. The taintless nirvāṇa of the two vehicles, being undefiled, is named superior wholesomeness; the taintless of the Great Vehicle, surpassing those two vehicles, is named great wholesomeness.
