12.57

解中有十：一、修十種平等意樂得入五地。言如契經說，應知其相者，如十地經，五地中，諸佛子若菩薩得第四菩薩地善滿諸行已欲入第五菩薩地，當以十平等深淨心得入第五地，何等為十？一、過去佛法平等深淨心故；二、未來佛法；三、現在佛法；四、戒淨；五、心淨；六、除見疑悔淨；七、道非道智淨；八、行斷智淨；九、思量一切菩提分法上上淨；十、化度一切眾生淨平等深淨心故。

Within the explanation there are ten parts. 1. Cultivating the ten kinds of equanimous resolute intention to gain entry into the fifth stage. Regarding 'as the sūtra states, its characteristics should be known': as in the Daśabhūmikasūtra, on the fifth stage, 'Sons of the Buddha, when a bodhisattva on the fourth bodhisattva stage has well perfected all practices and wishes to enter the fifth bodhisattva stage, he should enter the fifth stage with ten equanimous, profoundly pure minds. What are the ten? First, because of an equanimous, profoundly pure mind regarding the past Buddhadharmas; second, regarding future Buddhadharmas; third, regarding present Buddhadharmas; fourth, purity of morality; fifth, purity of mind; sixth, purity of eliminating views, doubt, and remorse; seventh, purity of gnosis of the path and the non-path; eighth, purity of gnosis of practice and abandonment; ninth, the supreme purity of contemplating all factors of awakening; tenth, because of an equanimous, profoundly pure mind that purifies the transformation and deliverance of all sentient beings.'
