12.59

解云：謂於四地自謂得生淨勝佛家，得彼道品內淨法故便起身淨慢，正障法身平等之義。今修平等正治彼心，此十心中前三觀法身修平等心遣於前地生佛家慢，後七遣於佛家所得自利利他道分內法上起慢心。

The explanation states: On the fourth stage, one thinks oneself born into the pure and superior family of the Buddha, and because of attaining the internally pure dharmas of those path-factors, one gives rise to the arrogance of bodily purity, which directly obstructs the meaning of the equality of the Dharmakāya. Now, cultivating equality directly counteracts that mind. Among these ten minds, the first three contemplate the Dharmakāya and cultivate an equanimous mind to dispel the arrogance of being born into the Buddha's family from the previous stage; the latter seven dispel the arrogant mind that arises regarding the internal dharmas of the path-factors of self-benefit and benefiting others attained in the Buddha's family.
