三、辨校量，地論以前例後故無此文，若準下結文即為九段，下之諸地亦隨結文，即判若干段，準之可知，前初地行十意樂極圓滿故超入二地。

Third, distinguishing the comparative superiority. In the Daśabhūmika-śāstra, because the earlier serves as a pattern for the later, it lacks this text; if following the concluding text below, it is divided into nine sections. The stages below are also divided into several sections following their concluding texts, and can be understood by analogy with this. Since the bodhisattva's practice in the preceding first stage has brought the ten intentions to ultimate fulfillment, he surpasses it and enters the second stage.
