發趣果是見解攝局在初地，故此不論。依如正法師解，為顯不迷道之方便而修正行故除發趣果。又以前類後故不以說，道理十地皆有發趣果，願果者與初地同，不異前故亦不論之。

The fruition of setting out is subsumed under views and understanding and is restricted to the first stage, so it is not discussed here. According to the explanation of Master Zhengfa, in order to reveal the expedient means of not going astray on the path while cultivating correct practice, the fruition of setting out is omitted. Furthermore, because the former serves as an analogy for the latter, it is not stated; by principle, all ten stages have the fruition of setting out. The fruition of aspiration is the same as in the first stage; not being different from before, it is also not discussed.
