答：據實皆有，略而不說。又舉初顯後，故意地不言相應也。又據勝法以明，五識無執持等，其境狹小，舉相應不言根塵，意中兼明，七八二識根塵等皆明，不可偏言相應，故略之。

Answer: In fact, both have it, but it is omitted for brevity. Furthermore, mentioning the beginning indicates what follows; therefore the mental stage does not mention 'conjunction'. Furthermore, it is clarified based on the predominant dharmas: the five consciousnesses have no appropriation and the like, and their objects are narrow and small; mentioning 'conjunction' leaves the faculties and dusts (objects) unmentioned. In the mental stage, the seventh and eighth consciousnesses are also clarified, and faculties and dusts, etc., are all clarified; one cannot speak one-sidedly of conjunction, so it is omitted.
