13.20

此為最初故言之一，就此分中有三十卷，決擇前十七地義，分為十二段：合五識身地意地為一；有尋等地為一；聲聞獨覺地為一；合有餘依無餘依地為一故。

Since this is the very beginning, it says 'part one'. Within this division there are thirty fascicles, which determine the meanings of the preceding seventeen stages, divided into twelve sections: combining the stage of the five groups of consciousness and the mental stage into one; the stage with investigation and the like into one; the stages of the śrāvaka and the pratyekabuddha into one; and combining the stages with remainder and without remainder into one.
