就第一段中，初結前生後總辨勝利；後依地正辨。初文雖總，少故寄在五識意地首明之。

Within the first section, it first summarizes what preceded and introduces what follows, generally analyzing the superior benefits; later it properly analyzes according to the stages. Although the initial text is general, because it is brief, it is placed at the beginning of the five consciousnesses and mental stages to be clarified.
