所以者何下，問答解前二章，所以捨二種取其身猶住者何，當來後有苦因斷故便捨後有身之取者，不造現在十支因故，名捨後有之取，即捨十二支中取支。

From 'For what reason' below, questions and answers explain the preceding two sections. Why is it that, although relinquishing the two kinds of grasping, their body still remains? Because the cause of suffering in future existences has been severed, one immediately relinquishes grasping for the body of future existences; because one does not create the present causes of the ten links, it is called relinquishing grasping for future existences—that is, relinquishing the link of grasping (upādāna) among the twelve links.
