釋增上緣中，略辨六種。問：愛非愛果與異熟果，有何別異須重明耶？解云：即以善惡業別感六識中苦樂名愛非愛果，後感賴耶捨受名異熟果。上來正決四緣中標及釋訖。

In explaining the sovereign condition (adhipati-pratyaya), six kinds are briefly distinguished. Question: Between desirable or undesirable fruits and the maturation fruit (vipākaphala), what difference is there that requires them to be clarified again? Explanation: Wholesome and unwholesome karma specifically induce pain and pleasure in the six consciousnesses, which are called desirable or undesirable fruits; later, they induce the neutral feeling in the ālayavijñāna, which is called the maturation fruit. The above completes the presentation and explanation in directly determining the four conditions.
