13.377

第三言論中謂耶見撥無施等，實無此無，今緣無起，豈非緣無生也。言無施無愛等故（泰云：）父母與子物等名愛也。三藏述三釋。如前第七即記。

In the third discourse, it refers to wrong views denying giving and so forth; in reality this non-existence does not exist, yet now arising conditioned upon non-existence, how is it not arising conditioned upon non-existence? Regarding "there is no giving, no affection, etc.": (Tai says:) The things parents give to children and so forth are called 'affection'. The Tripiṭaka Master stated three explanations, as recorded in the seventh fascicle above.
