Regarding the passage from "If all tracks of deportment..." up to "is called indeterminate manifest action": Ji and others say: This conforms to the Sarvāstivāda doctrine. Saying "one part" means: among the four sensory data of deportment and the five sensory data of arts and crafts, only body and speech are taken; hence it says "one part." Now in the Mahāyāna, this applies to the three natures; here indeterminate is taken, excluding wholesome and unwholesome, hence it says "one part." These are all arisen from preparation, unlike mind born of karmic maturation which cannot initiate action. If so, minds of magical transformation can also initiate action, so why are they not discussed? Now in Mahāyāna: if it is for benefit and joy, one should know it is wholesome and thus belongs to the category of the wholesome; if it is for amusement, one should know it is indeterminate and thus belongs to the category of deportment and the like, so it is omitted and not discussed.
