解云：五十八云：如是所說十種煩惱，皆與自他一切煩惱展轉相緣，下地煩惱，能緣上地煩惱及事。又六十二云：若生下地於上起愛未得離欲不定心者是欲界繫，有染染者念言我今當證廣大喜樂所起等至，若得證者我當愛味，又我云何當得生上地常恒不變，此愛染污者，此據雜染愛得上緣。

Answer: Fascicle 58 says: "The ten afflictions explained like this all mutually take one another and all afflictions of self and others as intentional objects. Afflictions of a lower stage can take the afflictions and things of a higher stage as their intentional objects." Fascicle 62 also says: "If one born in a lower stage generates love toward a higher [stage], has not yet attained detachment from desire, and has an unsteady mind, this is bound to the desire realm. If one is defiled by defilement, one thinks: 'I shall now realize the meditative attainments that produce vast joy and pleasure; if I attain realization, I shall relish it. Furthermore, how might I attain birth in a higher stage, permanent, eternal, and unchanging?' Such a person is defiled by this love." This is based on defiled love obtaining a higher intentional object.
