言依取者，謂現行貪及以種子是其取體，是四識住四緣依處，故言依取，由依此取蘊得住與識為緣令識安住，故導謂識隨色住緣色為境。

The phrase "based on grasping" means that manifest greed and its seeds are the substance of grasping; they are the four supports and conditions of the stations of consciousness, hence it says "based on grasping." Because it relies on this grasping, the aggregates are able to abide and serve as conditions for consciousness, causing consciousness to settle peacefully; hence the guide says that consciousness abides following form and takes form as an object.
