故論答言當知四身繫唯在意地分別所生故，由此四繫與四識住貪同取意地分別起者，是故斷愛即除四繫，此二何疑，上來寂止心煩惱。

Therefore the treatise answers by saying: "It should be known that the four bodily ties are produced exclusively through conceptual discrimination in the mental stage." Because these four ties and the craving of the four stations of consciousness equally take what arises from conceptual discrimination in the mental stage, therefore severing craving immediately eliminates the four ties. What doubt can there be about these two? The above deals with ceasing the mental afflictions.
