Regarding "the desire realm has four minds": Ji says: "Among its five consciousnesses there are only three minds; there is no veiled indeterminate mind, because its characteristic appearance cannot be found. If in the higher realms, this indeterminate mind exists within the five consciousnesses. This veiled indeterminate mind exists only in the mental stage; in the path of seeing it is exclusively unwholesome; as for that in the path of cultivation, if it initiates evil conduct it is unwholesome; if it moistens rebirth, what remains is indeterminate. The rest can be understood."
