On the passage from "Furthermore, this meditative matter..." up to "...because absorption is the cause": Jing says: This explains that the matter of the meditative object is matter produced exclusively by the absorption of noble ones, not by ordinary beings. Because it is manifested from the worldly mind of the post-attainment wisdom of the two vehicles, it is called worldly. For bodhisattvas prior to the stages, when the mind aiming for nirvāṇa is fulfilled, it can also become manifest in the mind of preliminary application; in this sense, it is tainted. When the subsequent taintless mind of bodhisattvas prior to the stages manifests it, it is taintless. The supramundane wisdom of the three vehicles takes only tathatā as its cognitive object; having separated from the causes of conceptual proliferation regarding existence and nonexistence, it does not manifest this matter; therefore, this matter is not supramundane.
