基云：此據經部師義非大乘。然如石中，雖無三大之相。然本識中有種子果，一緣生三大，亦就大乘解。

Ji says: This relies on the Sautrāntika view, not the Mahāyāna. However, just as in a stone, although there are no marks of the three elements, yet in the fundamental consciousness there are seed-fruits, and a single condition generates the three elements; this is also explained in terms of the Mahāyāna.
