十門第八明獨非獨相中，景云：佛陀提婆說：四大之外無別造色。今明四大造色性相有異，又唯身根取其四大，六根俱取所造之色，明知有異。

In the eighth section of the ten topics, explaining the individual and non-individual characteristics, Jing says: Buddhadeva stated that apart from the four great elements, there is no separate derived form. Now it is clarified that the nature and characteristics of the four great elements and derived form are different; furthermore, only the body faculty apprehends the four great elements, whereas the six faculties all apprehend derived form; hence we clearly know they are different.
