差別中，云若工巧處，十二事差別故等者，即上事門中十二，彼云工業明處有十二工業處，謂營農工業，商估工業等。變化八種者，景云：異生為一，聲聞獨覺合為一，菩薩為一，如來為一，如是四人為嬉戲起身語化，又為利他起身語化，故成八種。

Under the section on distinctions: The statement 'if in the fields of craft, due to the distinctions of the twelve topics, and so on' refers to the twelve in the section on topics above; that text states that within the field of craftsmanship there are twelve crafts, namely agricultural craftsmanship, commercial craftsmanship, and so forth. As for the eight kinds of apparition, Jing says: Ordinary beings make one; śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas combined make one; bodhisattvas make one; and Tathāgatas make one. These four kinds of persons give rise to bodily and verbal apparitions for playful amusement, and also give rise to bodily and verbal apparitions for the benefit of others; thus they constitute eight kinds.
