First, regarding the statement, "as already recorded in the Śrāvakabhūmi, the ten aspects of practices such as destruction...": Jing states that, as stated in Fascicle 34, through these ten aspects of practice the four aspects under suffering are subsumed, and furthermore, regarding the characteristics of the truth of suffering among the four aspects: the aspect of impermanence subsumes five, namely: (1) the aspect of reversal and alteration; (2) the aspect of cessation and destruction; (3) the aspect of separation; (4) the aspect of intrinsic nature; (5) the aspect of conjunction. The aspect of suffering is subsumed by three aspects: (1) the aspect of fettering; (2) the aspect of that which is not especially agreeable; (3) the aspect of insecurity. The aspect of emptiness is subsumed by one aspect, namely, the aspect of non-apprehension. The aspect of non-self is subsumed by one aspect, namely, the aspect of non-mastery.
