Seventh, it explains the three minds of instantaneous encounter, inquiry, and determination, which are homogeneous before and after. The meaning of the question here is: all mental factors are the remaining aggregates that are not non-conjoined; do these dharmas arise at the time of the mind of instantaneous encounter, up to the mind of determination? The answer states: they arise according to the mind. Why here are only the first three minds referred to, and not the fourth and fifth? The reflection on each is also within the question. Furthermore, the nature of the preceding mind is definitively only indeterminate; omnipresent and object-determining factors are undetermined: four pervade the three natures, or some can co-arise with other wholesome and afflicted factors. If wholesome or unwholesome minds arise, they must be accompanied by these dharmas; this principle is definite. Because omnipresent and other factors are not determined to only one nature, here only this is asked, and therefore only the first three minds are asked about, not the latter two.
