前中，一、約所緣多少辨先後，謂眼所見多故先說，耳於所聞聲狹故次說等。

In the former part: first, the sequence is differentiated in terms of the extent of what is taken as object, meaning that because what is seen by the eye is extensive, it is stated first, and because the sound heard by the ear is narrower, it is stated next, and so on.
