二釋。於中，初辨名不同。因體為緣能起於果，故云因、名緣起。由彼緣力果體得生，故云果、名緣生。

Second, the explanation. Within this, first the difference in names is distinguished. The causal entity acts as a condition that can generate the result; hence the cause is called 'conditioned origination' (pratītyasamutpāda). Through the power of that condition, the entity of the result is able to arise; hence the result is called 'conditioned arising' (pratītyasamutpanna).
