First, the objection of no distinction from view. That is, if only defiled wisdom of heterodox clinging is called wrong knowledge, then only the five views should be of defiled nature. According to Buddhist principle, through the power of ignorance the five wrong views arise; their mental modes and names are distinct and termed 'clingings'; that the five views are themselves ignorance is unreasonable. Although those five views are not separate from ignorance, ignorance and views have distinct mental modes; therefore, calling defiled wisdom ignorance contradicts principle.
