測云：前識名色六處觸受先種子性曾得眾苦引因之名，故知非現在五支約種子說。今言現在果所攝五支及未來二支總名果所攝。故知現在五支亦現起異熟果攝總，二支說五支，即通現行種子，餘亦如是。

Ce states: 'Earlier, consciousness, name-and-form, the six sense bases, contact, and feeling, in their nature as seeds, once received the designation of projecting causes of manifold sufferings; therefore we know that the present five links are not spoken of in terms of seeds. Now it is said that the five links subsumed under present fruits and the two future links are collectively termed "subsumed under fruits". Therefore we know that the present five links are also subsumed under the collectively manifest resultant vipāka; when two links are explained as five links, this extends to both actualizations and seeds, and the rest are likewise.'
