除彼已外餘見色事，我今當說者，眼根能見成辨自事，在彼不能聞聲嗅香等外，故名餘差別相。

Regarding 'aside from that, I shall now explain the remaining matters of seeing visible forms': the visual faculty being able to see and accomplish its own function lies outside of its inability to hear sounds, smell scents, and so forth; hence it is called 'the remaining distinctive characteristics'.
