第八死生得捨門。於中，先明欲界死生得捨；後明上界得捨。汎論死生得捨，三界各有三種，合九也。今談四時，略不論餘。

Eighth is the section on acquisition and loss upon death and rebirth. Herein, it first explains acquisition and loss upon death and rebirth in the desire realm, and afterward explains acquisition and loss in the higher realms. In general discussion of acquisition and loss upon death and rebirth, each of the three realms has three kinds, totaling nine. Now, discussing the four occasions, it briefly does not discuss the rest.
