16.162

景云：前言從善法故欲已去於一切方便道悉是未知根體者，通取遠近方便。今者近取順決擇已去，故言色繫及不繫。

Jing says: It was previously said that from wholesome desire onward, everything throughout the stage of expedient means is the substance of the faculty of unknown-to-be-known; that broadly takes both remote and proximate expedients. Now, it proximately takes from the aids to penetration onward; therefore it is said to be bound to form and unbound.
