Ji says: 'The first six' refers to the four feelings excluding grief, together with mind and life; because the life faculty in the body of one beyond training is like the suffering faculty, or because of the Tathāgata's taintlessness. If so, how can the five faculties in the body of one beyond training be open? The 'other two that are non-abandoned' are the latter two taintless ones.
