下答中，言又於老病死等至離第三德者，汝計自在牽引我所修治受用所作未成，即為老病死等損害，不隨所欲現可得故，知汝說無轉變德。

Below, in the reply, with regard to the phrase, "Furthermore, when old age, sickness, death, and so forth arrive, they are separated from the third virtue": before the works of what you impute as the autonomous drawing forth, cultivation, and utilization of what belongs to the self are completed, one is harmed by old age, sickness, death, and so forth; because things are manifestly found not to follow what one desires, know that what you describe has no virtue of transformation.
