第七、辨精進根。頌中，初句明被甲方便二精進，第二句明不下無動二。下之半頌，同顯無足。

Seventh, distinguishing the faculty of vigor: in the verse, the first line explains the two vigors of donning armor and expedient means; the second line explains the two of not shrinking and being unshakable; the lower half of the verse collectively shows being insatiable.
