五、解不放逸，修諸善法有因有果，因果相屬俱名修善相，防護不善心亦有因果，因果相屬俱名防護不善心，俱應為彼因果相也。

Fifth, explaining non-negligence: cultivating all wholesome dharmas has cause and fruit; because cause and fruit pertain to each other, they are together called the characteristic of cultivating the wholesome; guarding against unwholesome minds also has cause and fruit; because cause and fruit pertain to each other, they are together called guarding against unwholesome minds; both should be the characteristics of cause and fruit for that.
