基云：六處第六故。觸為緣有五者，謂五受根，從觸生受故。策勵為緣八者，信等五三無漏根。
Ji says: Because it is the sixth of the six sense-bases. The five that take contact as condition are the five feeling faculties, because feeling arises from contact. The eight that take exertion as condition are the five beginning with faith and the three taintless faculties.
