備云：大乘道理初二禪，有其喜樂受。然今為諸受別地，樂受在三禪，所以初二禪中不說樂受入也。

Bei says: In Mahāyāna doctrine, the first and second dhyānas have feelings of joy and pleasure. However, now, to differentiate the feelings according to their stages, pleasure feeling is placed in the third dhyāna; therefore, entering with pleasure feeling is not stated in the first and second dhyānas.
