此有兩解。一、言中有；二云，死有。準下文云：三種人生那落迦不憶宿命，故令憶念，即知前解為勝。

Here there are two explanations. One says: the intermediate existence; the second says: death-existence. According to the text below, which says that three kinds of people born in the naraka do not recollect past lives, and thus he causes them to recollect, we know the former explanation is superior.
