次正決擇煩惱、業、生，則為三段。解煩惱中有三：初解五門；次解七門；後總釋九門。

Next is the formal determination of afflictions, karma, and rebirth, which consists of three sections. In explaining afflictions, there are three parts: first, explaining the five gates; next, explaining the seven gates; finally, generally explaining the nine gates.
