命根無所屬者，三藏云：故知命根不唯第八心王通同時五數上立。
Regarding the life faculty having nothing it belongs to, the Tripiṭaka Master says: hence we know that the life faculty is not established solely upon the eighth consciousness-king, but applies across the five concurrent mental factors as well.
