喬答摩種，舊云瞿曇，不順梵語。今云喬答摩，此云日天，或言甘蔗，或云牛糞，或名泥土。又妄計自在世主等，乃至如是邪見亦迷苦諦。

The Gotama clan: formerly translated as Qutan (Gautama), which did not conform to the Sanskrit phonetics. Now it is rendered Qiaodamo (Gautama), which is translated here as 'Sun Deity', or said to be 'Sugar Cane', or said to be 'Cow Dung', or called 'Earth'. Furthermore, falsely conceiving Īśvara, Lord of the World, etc., down to such wrong views are also delusion regarding the truth of suffering.
