缺根除五者，謂除男女三無漏，若缺男女定缺三無漏。故此約現行不起名五種，二丈夫非丈夫對。
"Lacking faculties excludes five": namely, excluding male, female, and the three taintless. If one lacks male and female, one definitely lacks the three taintless. Hence, this is termed "five kinds" in terms of their not actively arising. Second is the pair of man and non-man.
