四、明定不定。言如先所說作及增長業者，前第六門四句中，唯彼俱句作亦增長是其定業，餘之三句是不定業，故今偏牒彼俱句來。

Fourth, clarifying definite and indefinite [karma]. Regarding the words "as previously explained, karma that is performed and accumulated": among the four permutations in the sixth gateway above, only that both-clause—"both performed and accumulated"—is definite karma, while the remaining three permutations are indefinite karma; therefore, it now specifically cites that both-clause.
