又即此果乃至得清淨者，牒經。當知乃至及令諸根順清淨故者，染心已滅淨心起時於境不染令報順清。
'Furthermore, this fruit... down to attains purification' quotes the sutra. 'One should know... down to causing the sense faculties to conform to purification': when the defiled mind has ceased and the pure mind arises, it is undefiled with respect to objects, causing the retribution to conform to purification.
