17.410

初文，即以忿等五失為能障，有其五種厚重等持相，由彼忿等五種，如其次第於此五種等持之相障礙而住，說名五種厚重過失。

In the opening text, the five faults such as anger are taken as the obstructing factors, and there are five kinds of gross and heavy marks of samādhi. Due to those five kinds such as anger, one remains obstructed with respect to these five kinds of marks of samādhi in corresponding order; these are called the five kinds of gross and heavy faults.
