決擇分有十二大段之中是第四段。於中，初結前生後，次正決擇；後餘不復現。

Among the twelve major sections in the Viniścayasaṃgrahaṇī, this is the fourth section. In it, first, it summarizes the preceding and introduces what follows; next, it undertakes the actual determination; after that, the remainder is not set forth again.
