前中，泰云：七識次第者如第一末那意為第六依，依意起識名意識，識為第七為皆轉識者，以緣境起滅漏縛不定故也。

In the former, Tai says: 'Regarding the sequence of the seven consciousnesses: like the first, the manas-mind, is the support for the sixth; the consciousness arising in reliance upon the mind is called the mental consciousness; the consciousnesses being seven or all evolving consciousnesses is because their arising and ceasing through taking conditions as objects, and their defiled bondages, are not fixed.'
