釋論中引十八不共法釋，不與二乘故名不共六識無明亦不與末那無明，應得不共名也，十八不共法不與二乘共。然與同類德俱行，末那無明亦爾，不與六識無明共名不共，然自類見愛使等俱行，不同小乘釋不與便共行名不共。

The Commentary cites the eighteen unshared dharmas in its explanation: because they are not shared with the two vehicles, they are called "unshared". If the ignorance of the six consciousnesses is also not shared with the ignorance of manas, it ought to receive the name "unshared" as well. The eighteen unshared dharmas are not shared with the two vehicles, yet they operate alongside virtues of the same kind. The ignorance of manas is also like this: not being shared with the ignorance of the six consciousnesses, it is called "unshared", yet it operates alongside fetters such as views and attachment of its own kind. This differs from the Hīnayāna explanation where not operating together with them is called "unshared".
