解由未得故心不生中，初以欲界對初定辨：次後七地相對以辨；後生死涅槃相對以辨。
In explaining that mind does not arise because of non-attainment: first, it explains by contrasting the desire realm with the first dhyāna; next, it explains by contrasting the subsequent seven stages with one another; and finally, it explains by contrasting saṃsāra with nirvāṇa.
